The SaaS Spend Brief
The SaaS Spend Brief is a weekly dispatch for buyers. Each issue covers one SaaS pricing or packaging change, why it matters, and one negotiation move you can make this week. It is short, free, and written from the buyer side of the table.
- One pricing or packaging change explained, from a vendor increase to a new meter.
- The buyer read on why it matters for your renewal.
- One concrete move you can make before your next negotiation.
- Under 400 words, once a week, no hype.
What does a typical issue look like?
A typical issue takes one real development, such as a vendor folding an AI feature into a higher tier, and explains the mechanic in plain language. We name the tactic, give the number where it is published, and then give you the counter. Recent themes include forced SKU migration into AI inclusive bundles, the Copilot seat plus the separate agent governance license, and outcome pricing per automated resolution where the definition of resolved decides the bill.
Who is it for?
It is written for CIOs, CFOs, procurement leaders, and vendor managers who own a SaaS portfolio with a renewal inside the next twelve months. If a renewal is already on the table, the brief pairs well with the SaaS Negotiation Guide, and you can send the deal through any time on the contact page for a no obligation review.
How often will you email me?
Once a week. We never share your address, and we capture everything through one secure form rather than a public inbox. You can unsubscribe at any time from the footer of any issue.
